yesterday's explorations consisted of anthropomorphic art and burger galore; today's explorations solely consisted of berkeley's wondrous sweets and other eats.
behold, the difference between macarons and macaroons! (or what claims to be the difference..)
even i get confused sometimes, so i had to search it up for the millionth time tonight. this is because i continuously read about various debates between which one is which, and i'm just not sure of the real distinction between the two cookies. therefore tonight, i think i'll conclude with "macarons" as what i had today at masse's and made with vu a few days ago and "macaroons" as the coconut goods once and for all. but you can classify the cookie names however you prefer. :)
i've been sleepless for the past few days, perhaps weeks, or maybe even month! but tomorrow will be a whole new day of excitement. 6 am wake up call for an early morning train ride to davis! goodnight.
