hello, my name is jane. i am a huge fan of any kind of kettle corn, snail mail, most, if not all, coffee-flavored products, rainbow prints, long bike rides, green habitats, and animals.

chana masala, brown rice, and steamed veggies

tried the good karma vegan house with vu last week (i think that was last week), and crawled back to the mellow ambiance and friendly staff with tiffany today for linner (late lunch, early dinner). everyone, they offer gooooood food at cheap prices and filling satisfaction! personally, i think the cafe has an ultimate rad vibe to it and i could already say i'm smitten with it. i'm so glad vu caught a glance of the cafe the last time we went out searching for lunch; otherwise i wouldn't even be able to refer back to this cool place! the people i need to thank...

we got a chance to visit ica (institute of contemporary art) down first street, and surely, they had amazing new works that were worth checking out. we topped our hangout off with light coffee at philz coffeemmm. i tried the chai with cream in medium sweet today. i can't even begin my obsession with chai because well, maybe it's just that spice that lingers on the back of my tongue after every sip that gets me all tingly and giddy inside- plus supreme coffee goodness to the max? yes, please, and thank you! geez, if i lived next door to philz, i think i'd be extremely broke by sunset each day. if i could marry philz, maybe i would. it's just that philz has been an absolute favorite place of mine to be in for quite some time now. so bookmark this place if you haven't paid a visit yet! (they even have a piano in there for customers to play tunes on. 30 minutes limit. hehe but i'm too shy for that...i'd much rather hear anyone else's sit-down performance!)

after coffee time, we went back to my house to catch up the two modern family episodes i missed. good stuff.

bad news: the film that i was so hopeful for unwinding didn't end up working out
good news: my brother's friend let me borrow a murakami book that he owns! sweet.
