class cancelled

so i found out just now that my philosophy class is cancelled because my teacher is in italy. no one tells me these things! ( i certainly don't get the email updates for some reason even though they claim to have sent everything to the email address that each of us wrote down form the beginning. ) but score! that explains why i have time to sit on the library floor right now, trying to find out what my next research paper should really be on. i need help from the librarian.

i received a 96/100 on my last english analysis paper. surprise! eating all the sack lunches, staying in, working hard, and thinking critically paid off. i'm craving for disneyland as a reward, except maybe i don't quite deserve it just yet. i still have a theater paper and an abstract research paper due thursday. hooray, i don't have to eat a sack lunch today because i have the extra hour! thank you, thank you, thank you to whomever set up such a brilliant schedule on a monday morning.

time ticks by so fast here with the dorm life that i've somehow forgotten that thanksgiving is literally next week and i'll be back home about 7 hours away from this utopian place. thinking realistically, i haven't seen my family for about 3 months. i haven't gone home once. it's been awhile and i really want to see my grandma or even hear her voice.
