hello, my name is jane. i am a huge fan of any kind of kettle corn, snail mail, most, if not all, coffee-flavored products, rainbow prints, long bike rides, green habitats, and animals.

the alameda

places visited today:
1. black and brown- (buy-sell-vintage & modern clothing) this store is huge now! it used to be pretty small in w san carlos. now it's bigger and better, and the workers are actually truthful and friendly. less hostile than the previous. thumbs up on my list. good stuff.

the whole coffee shop is mine at this time of the day. there is this huge gymnastics event going on in front of the hp pavillion, so the streets are crowded and everyone is kind of clamped together like a group of people all trying to find room in an over capacitated elevator. today i biked way pass down the bridge and found my place around the alameda spots once again. i hung around all day. heh, i am very aware that i will need to do more studying though. i'm about to grab dinner at the good karma
good karma's pra-ram and chik and salad
ended up going to good karma and got two sides: pra-ram and chik and salad with brown rice
or maybe caffe frascati for that vegan veggie lentil after an hour or two of studying at peet's. then i'll take the lightrail home. i love roaming around freely by myself on weekends by bike in downtown san jose. it really is the best. it's the most exciting when you find new places that you never knew were located there before or never realized how closely connected everything in the neighborhood was.

but the single most, most, most, most exciting news of all....are you ready...?

whole foods is opening at the alameda site! super close in downtown san jose! life is about to be oh so complete.

that really does mean lunch and dinner there everyday. or i can only wish, but i will be there so often, really. this may sound ridiculous, but it's always been on my bucket list to work at a whole foods or trader joe's store. it's some of the more practical things on my future-to-do list. :-) one can only dream for now because i don't even know when it's opening.
