hello, my name is jane. i am a huge fan of any kind of kettle corn, snail mail, most, if not all, coffee-flavored products, rainbow prints, long bike rides, green habitats, and animals.

i realized i've been spending way too much money at starbucks for my usual tall cups of soy lattes after 10 pm lately. i've been at that particular starbucks more than i should. the house originally smelled heavenly after the vegan pumpkin cupcake baking and coffee brewing, but then i pulled out the fresh market apple hand sanitizer from bath and body works; i never realized how strong the scent was. i never liked apple scented hand sanitizers or any flavored scented hand sanitizer for that matter. sometimes i don't know why i buy the things i buy. yesterday night i webcammed with my long beach friends for three whole hours. i never webcam with anybody for that long. i just couldn't contain my excitement-to see what they're up to and vice versa. today i went to michael's and bought the back to basics natural totebag. i scored it for five dollars because i finally learned to use coupons that they print out for you during previous buys. i also bought more friendship bracelet strings and hemp cord; i think they make great necklace steel chain replacements sometimes. i got a new "hello" stamp from target as well. i've been in deep love with wooden stamps. i'm trying to form a collection here. on friday night, i went to the downtown san jose art walk. me and vu made our own buttons for $0.50 each, walked through galleries, participated in street chalk art drawing, saw a lady with her homemade lit-up jellyfish umbrella, listened to local musicians perform, and had sandwiches at bijan bakery. then we grabbed coffee at starbucks before going home. today i picked vincent up and we went to taco bell so i could try the veggie cantina bowl. p.s. it's not much compared to the chipotle veggie bowl; however it wasn't bad for something new. there, me and vincent caught up with what's been happening in and out of our lives for the past month and a half we have not seen each other, and he told me that he is now a pescetarian because of hanging around me too much. he decided that he will try to take small steps into vegetarianism in between in the meantime. i'm so proud of him. i had no intentions of changing him or anyone from the beginning of my newly changed lifestyle or anything regarding stepping away from animal cruelty. but here it is, vincent was referring to his newly practiced diet because of me. this clearly is breaking news. i hope vincent will someday reach for the final stage of being completely cruelty-free, because i know he and anyone else out there can do it. finally, i must say, the weekend is ending strongly. oftentimes, there is so much to be thankful for.
