hello, my name is jane. i am a huge fan of any kind of kettle corn, snail mail, most, if not all, coffee-flavored products, rainbow prints, long bike rides, green habitats, and animals.

h&m featuring lana del rey
soo exciting
yesterday was the grand opening day for santana row's new h&m! it's still grand opening weekend, so if you live in san jose, or happen to be in the area this weekend, come visit us! some special offers are the colored blazers ,which are now $20 instead of $30 on the rounder stands, and there are tons of divided buttoned up shirts in white, tan, blue, and black in every size you want for only $5-all part of the opening sales.
yesterday i got to work in the kids department for a full four hours and my goodness, h&m scored some amazing copyright skills. from hello kitty toys to disney princess shirt prints to animated pixar graphic designs on little boys' tees, it's for sure a kid's dream to tell his/her mommy that today, they need to stay in h&m and only h&m-not the hello kitty store and.. perhaps not the disney store this time. i actually wanted to buy this glittery fox or bunny mask in the girls section for some reason. i wonder if it'd fit me. i'd be willing to spend $3.95 on that, heh. call me a ridiculous rachel, but kids clothes can be trendy as heck nowadays, and now especially with h&m style, i just want to bury myself in kid cuteness.
i have not yet scanned the divided section in the shopper's perspective yet, but it screamed danger in every corner when i helped do standards like zipping up the zippers, buttoning unbuttoned items, etc. etc. the weekend before opening weekend. i remember thinking, gosh, i already know what would happen if i just took an extra minute or two to observe and admire each garment-cared item in the shopper's perspective. i need that shopping experience now. this is what working at a retail store can do to you, friends. but honestly, i really enjoy working at h&m.
i believe i am watching perks of being a wallflower today with my friend, vu! super duper excited. we waited an extra two weeks for this, because we somehow thought it was coming out the 14th, and then the 21st, which were all wrong dates. i'm stoked. after the movie, i have a five hour shift for closing until 11 pm again tonight. despite my tiredness, it'll be worth it as always.
