peter, john, and i went to zephyr's for lunch today. yes, give me perfection with this grilled tofu sandwich. just the right amount of grilled onions and mushrooms added in between slices of toasted crunchy wheat bread goodness, along with light salsa and healthy wheat tortilla chips on the side. then we went to paradis for vegan flavored ice cream. the mint lime ice cream tasted like the kind of basil leaves that vietnamese people like to put in their vietnamese noodles. the ice cream was like the frozen flavored version of it. i enjoyed it very much. i remember saying i liked marianne's ice cream a lot in santa cruz, but i change my mind. i developed some pride with local-made vegan creamy flavors from long beach. tehe.

came back and got dropped off in front of the LA 1 building and me and john went to alicia's class. another lengthy class session with u.s. history with ms. alicia...  we like to call her by her first name.

i just came back from the dining hall and let me tell you, i couldn't resist the dairy-free vanilla ice cream again. food is my better half.

today i have to, have to start and develop a decent rough draft for my history paper so i can bring it to the tutor tomorrow to correct it for a grade for alicia. i think i might be staying in costa mesa for the weekend with john and his family. so excited!

yesterday i purchased my ticket to seattle! i am so stoked. this time i'm staying for 11 days and i think we are going to take the train to portland! jennifer said she thinks i'd really like it. i may finally get to do my true-ecofriendly-nature-loving-portlandia-fan-girl-side some justice. insert smiley face

this summer i want to try growing my own coffee beans. no, i did not have any coffee today. today is the 10th day i believe. cheers.

oh, i also grabbed a bunch of peta brochures from zephyr's. i think i know which topic i'll be choosing for my upcoming persuasive speech!
