after the mccruelty protest last, last saturday, caroline, john, and i browsed around the area and there was this really cool thrift store that sold roller skates for $28 per pair. i wanted to get some, but we didn't have too much time because we wanted to check out their out-of-the-closet store. there, i picked up a glass cup and some wooden knick knack. before i knew it, we were back on the metro and got back to school in time after 2 hours and i packed hella fast and went to michelle's house for a sleepover.
on saturday night, i hung out with her cat and dogs and family. we watched idol and painted easter eggs. on sunday she took me to a 5:30 am morning service in downtown by the lighthouse. it was nice. her mom put together easter baskets for us early sunday morning and i thought it was the sweetest thing ever. before i left, she gave me a bunch of candy bags, easter grass, and what not to put together some of my own easter baskets for friends back at the dorms. i did just that.
| michelle's dad takes care of his own little vegetable/plants garden. inspirational. this is what jennifer, my family, and i are going to try and start this summer as our new project. |
