umami burger on union street
assorted cookies from anthony's cookies on mission
in sf on a late and rainy saturday afternoon
last summer when jennifer, my brother, his friends, and i went to sf to try umami burgers, they were on break. this time, we finally got to test out the famous burgers that so many known food bloggers' marked as best bay area eats. surely, they were more accurate than ever. i ordered an umami veggie burger. my slice of shittake mushroom instead of meat patty was so darn juicy spectacular.
the sides look typical, but they were delicious and they have some special umami ketchup sauce. i had one dip, but it tasted 100 % better than regular ketchup. but in general, i'm not big of condiments, so that's all i could say for it.

| oh geez, my beautiful sliced wheel tomato and that crispy parmesan crisp on top of my shittake mushroom. i'm not a cheese person, but this slice of parmesan crisp tasted like a piece of potato chip. |
anthony's cookies:

| two dozen assorted cookies: toffee chip, double chocolate walnut, cinnamon spice, classic chocolate chip, oreos and cream. my favorite was the double chocolate walnut. |
