hello, my name is jane. i am a huge fan of any kind of kettle corn, snail mail, most, if not all, coffee-flavored products, rainbow prints, long bike rides, green habitats, and animals.

March 22, 2012

this morning i went to the rec center, and then i came back to make a to-go tuna sandwich at the sandwich bar at the dining hall. i wish they had avocado at the bar this morning.

i was about to skip both of my classes today, but i decided not to. this happens every other day though. i usually end up attending class, sitting there, taking notes like a good student for myself and others who decide not to show up, signing others in, and rushing my bike up and down campus and then repeating the same cycles again. it's like being a hamster

today i left my id in the dorm room, so that meant i couldn't get to my to-go tuna sandwich that i made so it meant i had to bike back to the campus food court on upper campus to get to the beach walk cafe to order a grain bowl.

despite the rush, the long line turned into the shortest and most miraculous 3-minute wait in the world. in return, i got my black beans, brown rice, tomatoes, lettuce slices, and cilantro- my kind of bowl.

one more class to go, history homework to do, snacks/fruits to pack/buy, clothes to pack, money to get from the bank, staying the night in anaheim with dad's relatives tonight, taking the bus home to san jose tomorrow first thing in the morning. i'm excited.

but one step at a time.
