hello, my name is jane. i am a huge fan of any kind of kettle corn, snail mail, most, if not all, coffee-flavored products, rainbow prints, long bike rides, green habitats, and animals.

confessions of a real hippie...
haight street today in one day, one minute
song: the rolling stones-she's like a rainbow
spent all morning putting this minute film together with... of course, my amateur skills. hey, but i met cool-guy eddie. real footage. score or score?
yesterday i spent an eventful day in san francisco, on haight and mission, filming and taking pictures for my communications informative speech. digging down to the core of a certain landmark's historic past is something that really fascinates the heck out of me. plus i get to appreciate more of the world out there when i get to learn about a place's culture, art, and music. my mind eventually gets blown away so easily. like explosions in the sky... one of my favorite instrumental groups.. which i ran a bit too late to purchase tickets. oh jane.
after an entire day of going back and forth in san francisco grabbing double shots of espresso and americano drinks, going into neat bookstores, trying odd mixtures of ice cream, and visiting thrift shops, vu and i went back to downtown san jose and attended a small local show at anno domini. i think it's the third time i've seen corpus collosum, and they were still good as heck. i also got to see foxtails brigade, and the lead singer surely had the same angelic voice on her myspace page. she was such a sweetheart for singing the crowd a valentine's day song followed by a holiday christmas song, along with her entire album. she proves that seasons don't matter. by the very end of the night, i knocked out like a baby. strong black coffee treats me well, ironically. i love it all like no other.
here's ben henderson rocking that harmonica
i'll upload pictures and more videos of yesterday's festivities when i have time.
today, i'm going to grab dinner with a good friend and hopefully grab coffee one last time at caffe frascati in downtown and listen to a new folk band i've never heard before. then.... work on my comm speech outline and other things that i need to put together in the packet to turn in, pack, and get ready to leave back to long beach tomorrow.
spring break... melancholia in san jose. i love it all. rainymood.com.
