i cannot remember when this was, but perhaps it was the second week in long beach, when i had trouble getting my introduction speech for my comm130 class in order. so my friends and i went from watching me stand in front of the sofas to standing up together to sitting down to jumping up and down to forming chairs into an alcoholics-anonymous-style-meeting with our stuffed animals... i did it in the end. friends like these, let me tell you, are worth it.
