it's like rock climbing. you stretch your right arm far to the right to look for the red step to grasp on and then you move your right foot and lay it on the green step a few inches below the red step you just grasped with your right arm. you keep moving up the rock like a crab with full body strength a couple hundred feet off the ground determined repeating i've-got-it-lines-until you reach the top and there are no more steps to hold on to, or perhaps you used the wrong strategy to climb up leaving you no more room to fully get all the way up to ring the bell. first you fret, then you wonder, and eventually you accept.
it's simple; some things just happen just because. maybe you didn't have the best plan in mind, but at least you followed through with your guts, got up there, and did it for yourself and no one else. you can try again the next day if you want.
