Lin is coming over in an hour and we are supposedly going to run a movie marathon! Later, I'll save time for light jogging, cardio exercises, reading, the library, and more movies. So far, I've been sticking to a daily night exercising routine and sweating buckets. I can see the sun reflection on my laptop and I can't really stand the glare on the lens of my glasses, but I can't help but feel so comfortable laying on the opposite end of my bed doing nothing and waiting, just because. I want to visit the art exhibits at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) so badly. I finished watching Miranda July's film The Future today. (Of course my brother would have the movie. I should have gone to him first, knowing how desperately I wanted to watch it from the beginning. He and I are kind of the same people in the end time after time.) I liked the film. It was a mellow film to watch, plus I think Miranda July is really beautiful inside and out; so at least to me, her character brings out the eccentric sides of artistic cinema. I wish I got to see the premiere at MOMA's screening of her film last year. Then I would have totally been able to find some kind of inspiration in her presence, in real life. But things happen for a reason, so perhaps I will meet her one day when I do.
