and i thought santa cruz had a semi-decent beach boardwalk.. but then we stopped in santa monica on sunday afternoon, and what a view. despite the failure to meet with edwin for the 5th time, i still enjoyed a sunny day in downtown santa monica taking photobooth pictures and digital photos with my family, and shopped under a budget that ended up scoring me to new items for my closet for the new school year. from monday-tuesday, i had my overnight orientation at long beach state. there, i met a lot of new potential friends to relate to, gathered in an entirely new atmosphere, pertained the long beach outlook, and embraced the artistic vibe all around! i'd say i'm definitely most excited to (even do small study groups), try out new coffee shops, go to the vintage boutiques, hang out at the flea markets, and attend local music shows with these 49ers in the near future! somehow when i was there, i just knew that it was one of those places where everyone would find content in- if not now, then real soon. i cannot wait to move to the beach, literally!
