" in [july] drinking horchata"

I spent a blazing hot Sunday afternoon at the Flea Market with Alison-just sweating buckets and checking out vintage trinkets.

We purchased three different icy cold drinks throughout the mildly warm day: black tea lemonade with strawberries at Starbucks, blue raspberry icee at the Flea Market, and Mexican horchata at El Buen Gusto Bakery. I had my first cup of horchata today, and it reminded me of this specific cup of spiced chai tea latte i once had-milky, sweetened, with the linger of the taste of cinnamon at the back of my tongue after every sip. A taste of cinnamon tends to bring me back to the holidays every now and then, so perhaps today's delightful Mexican drink was filled with the reminiscence of the holidays in one simple medium-sized foam cup.

95 degrees out was well worth it.

Plus, it gives me every reason to post this song now!
