hello, my name is jane. i am a huge fan of any kind of kettle corn, snail mail, most, if not all, coffee-flavored products, rainbow prints, long bike rides, green habitats, and animals.

June 18, 2011

Summer has been pretty luxurious so far with lots of drop-by visits to good friends' homes, park loitering, small catch ups, short trips, endless good films, spontaneous adventures, downtown explorations, outdoor grads, cultural food, night jogs, athletic days, warm nights, and enjoyable beats. Just think about it, in three days, we could easily say that it has been quite a month since our one and only high school graduation happened. I think that's quite something to think about, considering that we were one of the first schools to post and spam all our graduation pictures to and for each other on Facebook. Admittedly, there were the worthwhile and memorable moments, but there is no doubt that the feeling of being broken free once and for all feels ten million times better.

In addition to more of my side tracked thoughts, I still have an insatiable hunger for consuming more striped clothing pieces and patterned pairs of espadrilles for the summer. I could really use a simple light washed out denim jean vest too actually. So the one thing I have yet to do-that everyone else in the world seems to have done already-is take a stress-free trip down to the beach. It's what Californians (like me) think about: long for the beach, long for good weather, and long for the beach again. Someone please, please, please take me or teach me how to take the transit buses/lightrails to get to the focused beach point(s). No summer can be complete without the start of a few sunny beach trips. How neat would it be to be tan for the summer again?
