library hassle

clumsy me. biked all the way to the library to confidently claim that i had respectfully returned all the dvds i checked out days ago, back to the media slot, on time. i come home only to check that there were still four hidden dvds in the deep back seat pockets of my dad's car (that i had somehow forgotten to take out during the san diego trip). now i must bike back to the library to return the dvds and apologize for this terrible memory that seems to overpower me every now and then. once a clutz, hopefully not always a clutz.

edit: during the second run back, i realized that two of the four dvd discs were missing. oh god, i didn't want to bike back home for the third time. so i hurriedly called jennifer to bring them in (by car). out of the kindness of the second library employee i approached, without me knowing, he extended the due date for the dvds that were supposedly completely long overdue, leaving me with $0.00 debt in my account, as opposed to paying for $10.00 plus of fee by my third approach for help. congratulate me now!!
