what feels like home

wednesday midnight has now hit and i am still up. you know, that moment when you are flat-out exhausted with the whole droopy eyelids going on, but cannot bring yourself to full-on sleeping just yet-like you want to do more. like there's so much to do, and the night is still young. tonight. today was a good day. or yesterday was a good day. tuesday was a good day. i went to savers to look for furniture for the backyard, ended up with a salmon colored top, attended another physical anthropology session, bought a mini blue mr. coffee maker at target, watched a film at home, got a call-back for an interview, ran two miles, bought a tank top and ironed a print on it, made an apothecary bottle necklace, went to michael's to get pom-pom makers and bought yarn and made three pom-poms just now. i like christmas light set-ups. sitting in the room at night with open space feels good. i'm glad i took out the two shelves. this feels comfortable.
