fun vintage christmas wrapping
 |
| sushi dinner with tiffany and jennifer before leaving to the airport |
on december 20, i spent the day exploring downtown and the fremont district. i went back to the deluxe junk store and collected some rad knick-knacks. i got a bunch of fun vintage postcards, army toys, vintage christmas wrapping, and more! the owner of the store reminded me of the old man from the movie
up and i thought he was ultra adorable. now i just finished watching midnight in paris the other day, and the idea of a "nostalgia shop" was brought up; i thought that was neat because the deluxe junk store-with the carousal jazzy music, vintage newspapers decoration, old school suits, neon-colored boxed suitcases, 60's heels, delicate trinkets, and such-is the single definition of a nostalgia shop. that man owns a serious magical store.
all in all, the weather in seattle suited me just fine. the city was exactly the way i imagined it to be the second time around. this time, it was more charming than ever because i got to spend full days walking about, exploring the unfamiliar streets, trying new eateries, and more! i just love, love, love waking up and walking out to melancholy, gloomy weather and dressing up in bundles in general. my christmas break started off more than well.
