first week in long beach

pictures aren't quite in order, but it's all i have time for. basically i have been gathering my school materials together, reading lengthy chapters, taking observant notes, finding the shortcuts around the spacious school, reaching out to make new friends, participating in group activities, burying my feet in clean soft sand, eating scrambled eggs almost everyday, sweating buckets, staying up until 5 am playing the question game (just once actually), plucking strings on the lawn, being sick, drinking more caffeine than i should, going through juice boxes like no other, feeling lucky to be so close by the water, and being happy for once. cheers to a new life.
