vu and i spent our last day together screening tees, watching bits of the movie titanic, introducing each other to new music, taking the light-rail, buying transfer paper at the craft store, browsing through walmart for random supplies, eating in-n-out burgers, sitting outside on the sidewalk curb of mickie d's enjoying our traditional soft serves, and biking in a hurry. i'll definitely miss hanging out with vu in the time being, just because he is one of the few people who can honestly handle my monkey business unconditionally. when i come back for break, i know i'm going to look forward to baking nutella cupcakes for good friends with him.

surprise gathering or birthday slumber party?

first of all, thank you to all who dropped by my house for my last day yesterday; i really appreciated the thoughts. second of all, we had a pretty short, but entertaining round of cranium! i guess i wanted a birthday cake so badly that i dashed to safeway to pick up an ice cream vanilla chocolate cake for the gang. but i eventually turned it into a birthday celebration because i realized that we will miss jenell and lin's birthdays in september when everyone goes separate ways this fall.
